1958 — Where Our Story Began
The story of Khallati Optique began in 1958, in the heart of Marrakech's historic Medina, when the late Moulay M'Barek Khallati opened his first optical shop.
A pioneer in his profession, he was, according to the family's history, the first Moroccan to open an optical shop in Marrakech.
His initiative marked the beginning of a professional legacy built on precision, dedication and respect for customers.
1998 — The Second Generation
In 1998, his son, Hicham Khallati, earned his diploma in optics and joined his father at the original shop in the Medina.
Working alongside his father allowed him to combine his professional education with practical experience and an understanding of the optical profession.
2004 — The Creation of Médical Optic
In 2004, Hicham Khallati opened his own optical store, Médical Optic, marking a new chapter in his professional career.
2015 — Continuing the Family Legacy
Following his father's passing in 2015, Hicham Khallati also took responsibility for managing the original optical shop.
He went on to manage both establishments, preserving his father's professional legacy while continuing to develop the business.
2020 — A New Chapter in Guéliz
In 2020, the two establishments were brought together in a larger, modern optical store in Guéliz, Marrakech.
The former shops closed, making way for today's Khallati Optique, a new space carrying forward a tradition established more than six decades earlier.

Today, Khallati Optique combines its longstanding heritage with a modern approach to optical care.
We offer prescription glasses, sunglasses, corrective lenses and contact lenses, with a focus on personalized advice, precision, quality and attentive customer service.
